L.O.V.E.

is for the way you look at me!

is for the only one I see!

is very, very extraordinary!

is even more than anyone that you adore!

Happy Valentine's Day, Sweetheart!
I love you so so so much!

Oh, and who could forget the cutest, bestest little Valentine of all??

Notice how he is not smiling in any of these pictures.
Well, it took a lot out of him just to get a couple of good ones.
The rest look like this:

Our poor guy is just having a rough Valentine's Day.
Hopefully he will feel better when we go out on a little family date tonight!

Happy Valentine's Day, everyone!

New Years!

We had a very lovely, low-key time bringing in 2011 [which we absolutely enjoyed].
It was mainly due to the fact that Ryker had not been feeling very well the couple of days prior.
He also had not had a daytime nap in three days and was barely sleeping though his nights.
So, we thought it was best to stay home and let him have some peace and quiet.

But before we put Ryker down for the night, we showed him a couple of fireworks.
We thought he would enjoy them due to the fact that he loves, loves, loves lights...
Boy, we were wrong!
He cried [a very, very loud cry] during the first one, so I took him inside while Austin enjoyed
lighting a few more with my family.

They were beautiful.

And what is New Years without resolutions??
Just to name a few:

  • Successfully complete P90X [which I will post more on later].
  • Learn to cook... My family says that I should go on the show, 'Worst Cooks in America.'
  • Journal more.
  • Keep up on laundry. Ryker alone has more laundry than both Austin and I!
  • Continue to be more patient.
  • Serve more.
  • Make my husband lunch to take to work/school each day.
  • Be more diligent in all areas of my gospel.
  • Get Austin to write down some goals... ;]

Welcome December

Ever since I got married, I have been been such a home body.
All I ever want to do is cuddle up to my sweet husband in front of the television while watching our favorite shows [this is definitely not a bad thing].
So, after one year of marriage, we are finally starting to make some weekend plans!

As of know, December looks like:
.Forgotten Carols practices and performance with our beloved family.
.Game nights with friends and their children.
.Date nights with my hubby that actually involve going out.
.Picnics at the park with friends and their families.
.Kickball at the park.
.Reunions with amazing high school girl friends who have always been so supportive of me.
.Dinner dates with good friends who also just had babies.
.Temple lights with loving family.
.And as always, Sunday dinners with both sides of the family.

I am not even mentioning the Christmas Traditions with family. That will be another post... :]
December sure looks like the most wonderful time of the year!
We love the Christmas Season.

Happy Thanksgiving!

We hope that you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving Day filled with lots of family, food, and fun!
Austin, Ryker, and I had the privilege of spending the day with Austin's loving family.

[Grandpa sharing a story with the family before starting the meal.]

[The girlies!]

[Yes, that is Austin's Dad creeping behind us!]

[Of course, what would Thanksgiving Day be like without the boys watching football??]

[Four-generation picture! Grandpa, Papa, Austin, and Ryker.]

Austin and I are truly blessed to have so much in life and we are thankful for that each and every day.
...Especially on this Thanksgiving Day.

We would also like to give a shout-out to my amazing family who are all currently in Utah spending Thanksgiving Weekend with extended family there.
We miss them so very much and want to say that we are very grateful for all that they do for us!
We love you, Wray Family, and we wish that you were here with us today!

Enjoy the rest of this Turkey Day... because starting tomorrow, the CHRISTMAS celebrations begin!

Happy Halloween!

Austin and I had a wonderful Halloween Weekend!

First off, carving pumpkins is always a favorite...

...Especially when there is a Suns Game on!

And who can forget about our ward Trunk-or-Treat?!
It was a blast!

[Gotta love the escaped convicts!]

...
On our weekend to-do list:
Carve pumpkins [X],
Go out to eat at some of our favorite restaurants [   ],
Take long walks [X],
Hand out candy at our ward's Trunk-or-Treat [X],
Get all dressed-up in our Halloween costumes for our ward's Trunk-or-Treat [X],
Watch movies [X],
Cuddle [X],
Do some homework [X],
Take a bike ride [   ],
And just relax [X].

Luckily, we were able to do most of what we had planned [and more].
We sure loved every minute of it!
