Found It!

I know exactly what Austin and I are going to be for Halloween!

That's right... Mr. and Mrs. Potato Head!
Perfect for a big tummy!

I found these lovely costumes at Target.
There is only one problem though...
They are $40.00 each.

Maybe I will homemake them??
Sounds like a plan!

Saturday Night!

After the Relief Society Broadcast, my night was spent shopping with my mom and little brother!
It was wonderful!
[Austin was unfortunately doing homework...]

We went to Burlington Coat Factory, Mor, K-Mart, and Target.
And guess what?!
We bought some more baby supplies for the little guy growing in my tummy!

By far the best purchases tonight were:
[Thank you to my mommy!]

and

Ahhh, we are so happy to have finally found the right bedding!
Austin likes the sports theme so we have looked everywhere for something nice and not too pricey.
And we finally found it. :]

LIFE

This is my little brother, Kevin.
Last night we played the game of LIFE.
We had a great time! I love how he always gets so into the game and acts like it is his real LIFE.

This got me thinking. In real LIFE, wouldn't it be nice...
...to get money that easily?
...to buy stock and get a sure $10,000 every time someone spins your number?
...to get little LIFE checks frequently with hundreds of thousands of dollars on them?
...to only have to pay taxes once, if at all?!
...to be able to easily switch salaries with someone else who is making the big bucks?
...to get $15,000 here and there for doing good things in the community?
...etc.

Of course this would all be nice.
So, like my little brother, I started pretending it was real LIFE too.

And let me tell you, Austin and I ended up with a wonderful LIFE...
but I didn't need the game to tell me that!

A New Dental Hygienist in Training

This is me coming home from doing my dental hygiene observation hours today.

I did 8 hours today... Which means that I only have 32 hours left to do!
Woot woot.

I am fortunate enough to have a husband, who has a cousin, who has a husband, who is a dentist!
And let me tell you, he is not just a dentist, but a way cool dentist!

I would recommend his office, Goodman Dental Center, to anyone and everyone!
They are so nice and professional there.
The hygienists and assistants are way good; and I am lucky to be able to learn from them.

And their office is b.e.a.u.t.i.f.u.l.
I feel so fortunate that this is where I will be doing all of my observation hours that I need in order to apply for the Dental Hygiene School at MCC.

Wish me luck. :]

On My Mind...

Arizona is so hot right now!
We are currently breaking records.
It hasn't been this hot this late in Arizona since the late 1800s
Incredible.
Thank goodness for air conditioning!

I wish I wasn't always exhausted.
You would think that the 10 hours of sleep I get each night would be enough.
I guess it's not.

I am so grateful to have my job!
There is so much pleasure that comes from hard-earned money.
I sure am blessed.

Hmmm, I think I'm starting to swell...
My wedding ring still fits me, but I feel that my hands and feet don't look the same??
This is not good.

I sure do have the best family!
There is nothing like having all my siblings, their spouses, and lovers together.
I love how my parent's house is never empty.
Who knows what tonight will be like?!

Oh, and Austin...
You never complain about your beyond-busy schedule!
I wish I could be more like you.
I love you.♥

Eight Months!

I am currently 32 weeks and loving it!

I love feeling this little guy and seeing his body move around in my tummy.
I literally stare at my stomach for hours and never get bored of it!

Just let me tell you, there is never a dull moment from our little man; especially during the night!
[And I wouldn't have it any other way.]

Perfect.

I am in heaven.
Today, Austin and I were finally able to pick up the beautiful crib that we purchased over a month ago.
It is perfect.

We wasted absolutely no time setting it up!

Oh, and when I say "we" I mean Austin.
I sat there watching my cute husband the whole time; of course helping him here and there when he "needed" me.

[And please excuse the sheet-less mattress. It is laundry day.]

The final product! This picture does not do it justice.

Happy crib-loving!♥

Ready for the Weekend

This week has been a long one.

Especially when the husband is gone from 4:00am-5:30pm+ every single day.
Then he does homework until about 10:00pm.
Then he goes to bed exhausted.
Then he does it all over again by waking up at 4:00am again the next morning.
He sure is a trooper!
And the best husband in the entire world.

In the mean time he still finds time to give me body massages, cuddles, and love.
Now, don't you believe he is the best??

For me, I nanny from 10:30am-5:30pm.
Then I come home and work on homework.
Then I make some dinner.
Then I work on more homework and clean until my sweet Austin is ready for bed.
Then I am up all night feeling the baby twist and turn.
And I do love it so much because I can feel him; which makes up for not being able to see him.

We are ready for the weekend.
Bring on the homework, cuddles, sleep, homework, and relaxation time!

Even though we are going nonstop, we sure love our life so much and are grateful for everything we have!
Especially each other.

[Austin is not sad, I promise.]

Orientation

This last Monday, Austin and I had the opportunity to go and tour the hospital where I will be delivering.
It is so beautiful inside and out!!!

Since our sister-in-law, Kristell, is 14 weeks pregnant and too will be delivering there, her and Cody came on the tour with us!
My two sisters and my mom came along as well!
It sure was a fun party!

The whole labor and delivery unit is seriously like a resort!
Everything is brand new, the nurses are amazing, and the rooms are spacious and lovely.

It was so nice to walk through the place where we will be bringing our new baby into this world.
We feel a lot more comforted now.
Also, going there made everything seem so much closer!
We cannot believe we will be there in a few short weeks!
And we cannot wait.

[So excited!]
