Crunch Time

There is a good and a bad to the end of every semester.

Good: we get a much-needed break.

Bad: it is a rough ride with finals.

Austin has already been working on some of his final projects for weeks...

And let me tell you, he has been one busy man!

As for me, I only have a few online classes this semester and then I am done until I get accepted into the dental hygiene program.

The countdown to the last day of classes stands at:

8 days.

Once we are out of school we will complete this list and have so much fun doing it!

But for now, we are having a blast together, loving life, and cherishing every second we have with Ryker.

Our Day Today

As some of you may know, I am currently taking an online class to finish my last prerequisite for 

Dental Hygiene.

So, this is the fun that I get to experience at home each week.

Oh yes, it can get messy at times...

And I might break a test tube or two...

But it is always worth it in the end when I get to play with these pretty colors.

In other news...

My husband is having surgery today at 1:30 pm.

It is an Endovenous Laser Ablation and Ambulatory Stab Phlebectomy to be exact.

A New Dental Hygienist in Training

This is me coming home from doing my dental hygiene observation hours today.

I did 8 hours today... Which means that I only have 32 hours left to do!

Woot woot.

I am fortunate enough to have a husband, who has a cousin, who has a husband, who is a dentist!

And let me tell you, he is not just a dentist, but a way cool dentist!

I would recommend his office, Goodman Dental Center, to anyone and everyone!

They are so nice and professional there.
The hygienists and assistants are way good; and I am lucky to be able to learn from them.

And their office is b.e.a.u.t.i.f.u.l.

I feel so fortunate that this is where I will be doing all of my observation hours that I need in order to apply for the Dental Hygiene School at MCC.

Our Life as of Lately...

Austin and I are about a little more than halfway done with this semester.

We are chugging right along with school, work, and homework.

Our challenge is finding time for just each other!

[But, we are somehow managing it.]♥

My Baby is always working so very hard.

This is what happened when he found out I was taking pictures.

In addition to all of the busy fun we've been having, we like to try some fun new recipes.

A little late, but this is what arrived at our door the day before Valentine's Day.

We had the most amazing Valentine's Weekend ever!
