A Baby's First Word

Ryker has been talking a lot more recently.

Well, when I say 'talking,' I mean cute, elongated noises coming from his newly-discovered vocal cords.

Ever since he was only a few weeks old, Austin and I started to try to, let's just say, educate him... in our own ways, that is.

Me: "Can you say, Momma?!"

Austin: "Can you say, Dadda?!"

Of course, he has yet so say either 'Momma' or 'Dadda,' but we know he is learning.

This is because when we say it now, [like at least fifty times a day] he gets a huge grin on his face.

I personally believe he is just making fun of us.

Because what he is really thinking is: "Haha! Mommy and Daddy are so silly. I'll show them and say neither of them first...!"

And there you have it!

You have gone into the little life of our cute 'Naked Boy.'

[Yes, he loves his Birthday Suite.]

Last Resort

Remember this?
Well, that formula is now in the past.
We took Ryker in for another appointment with the doctor late last night.
He is now having bloody stools, major rashes, death-hurtling cries, and is spitting up more than ever.
He will not eat. He will not nap.
So, we are moving to our very last resort [...interesting, because the Nutramigen is usually the last resort...].

This is Neocate. It is the best of the best.

It has to be shipped-in because it cannot be found in stores.

Just something to think about:

Ryker goes through one can in three days tops. 

When he starts drinking the amount that he is supposed to be drinking, 

he will go through one in about a day-and-a-half...

We start today and should see some results in a few days; or weeks...

If nothing good comes from this, he will undergo further testing on his gastrointestinal tract.

But, we sure hope this new formula works for him!

Ryker has gone through so much pain for only being two months old.

We continually pray for his health and wish we could do more to help him.

We would do anything for him!!!

The Swing

Recently, Ryker has been enjoying some of his time in this beauty.

Mommy and Daddy love it!

It plays music, swings on its own, and even keeps him occupied with a cute, moving mobile!

Ryker just loves attention so it is sometimes hard for us to get things done during the day without him putting up a cute, but constant fuss.

So, we put him in here and he is content for about fifteen minutes...

 At least it is fifteen minutes of folding laundry!
