A Long Weekend

I guess a lot happened this weekend.
That is why I took a few days off from blogging.
I have not been in the mood.
And I am not in the mood now.

So I will just do a recap of the weekend...
Austin did homework.
We participated in our stake blood drive.
Austin did more homework.
The girls in my family put-on a baby shower for our sister-in-law [I will have a single entry about this one for sure.]
Austin did more homework.
We looked at some potential homes.
Austin did more homework.
I spent at least 15 hours shopping for homes online while...
Austin did more homework.
We played some fun games with family.
Austin did more homework.
Went shopping.
Austin did more homework.
We visited with Austin's sweet, sweet Grandma who is severely struggling from cancer.

I will expand upon this last one.

Our adorable, young Grandma is so precious. Her sweet spirit brings many unto her. She is so caring to all those she comes in contact with. She has been a major support in Austin's life and he has always looked up to her a great deal.

Unfortunately, her health is failing right now. She has been fighting this terrible disease for decades. She has been strong. This last weekend we got a call saying that she does not have much time left. We are very emotionally stricken at this time. We love our Grandma very much and are praying for her continually.

And that is all for today.
Happy Monday.

It is very exciting that you guys are looking for a house. How wonderful that will be for your growing family.

I'm very sorry to hear about your grandmother. She sounds like a very sweet woman. I'm sure it has been hard for everyone to watch her battle with this for decades. My prayers are with your family.
